The Island of a thousand temples

Our current last story or journey is dated from May 2022 to August 2024.
So more than two years and definitely a topic that has moved us forward again, both in the life sphere and in the work sphere.
Not only did we work on an Indonesian island, we mainly lived there.
From Aron's nanny who only spoke Balinese, to the forty employees we interacted with every day - both at work and in our free time. They learned the local language as well as the Indonesian one. Not to forget their mentality, culture and religion, which we observed and tried to be part of.
To experience here the days of silence, when everything is closed, turned off and one has to immerse only in one's thoughts - priceless!
And knowing that our son was able to speak Balinese before Czech, made friends and first loves, went to a local kindergarten where Hinduism is paramount,... Believe me, this little island in Indonesia has become ingrained in our hearts and we will always remember it fondly.

What was Veronica's fill of time that cut a chunk out of her life in the land of Baronga?
